Civil Aviation Security

Enabling aviation security personnel deliver to selected staff, specialized aviation security training courses that are validated and focused on teaching materials, such as Standardized Training Packages  (STPs). and Aviation Security Training Packages (ASTPs).

Personnel who are or will be assigned training functions related to aviation security.

By the end of the training, trainees will be able to:

• provide AVSEC training applying the general principles of learning and teaching
• effectively deliver validated training courses focusing on teaching materials
• identify, select and prepare the appropriate teaching aids
• design or modify training objectives and examinations as necessary to adapt them to national requirements; and identify and use appropriate teaching methods

• personnel with professional experience in aviation security (it is desirable that trainees have already attended a specialized basic course in aviation security, such as MPN BASE or an equivalent level course
• staff with secondary school level or equivalent
• having written and oral fluency in the language of instruction
• personnel who have demonstrated an aptitude for training functions

All the security courses, mentioned above, are documented and referenced to the ICAO conventions and annexes.
