Who we are
Open Sky Consulting was founded in April 2010 as an aeronautical training centre, officially approved by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment. Since then the centre has trained professionals across airport operations, civil aviation security and air transport.

Our history
2010 – Foundation
Open Sky Consulting was founded in April 2010 as an aeronautical training centre, officially approved by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment.
2011 – Partnership with Airbus Training
In 2011, Open Sky Consulting signed a cooperation agreement with the Airbus training centre to deliver type rating courses to pilots of Airbus customer airlines.
2012 – International recognition
Open Sky Consulting gained international recognition through the quality of its training programmes. That recognition led to several training agreements, notably with the Prince Sultan Aviation Academy in Saudi Arabia and with airport authorities across Africa — in Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Congo (Brazzaville), Togo and other countries.
2019 – IATA accreditation
In 2019, Open Sky Consulting was certified by IATA as an ATS (Authorized Training School) for dangerous goods transport training.
Our approvals and recognitions
- Ministerial approval — Approved by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment.
- Airbus Training — Cooperation agreement signed in 2011 with the Airbus training centre for type rating courses.
- International recognition — Training agreements with the Prince Sultan Aviation Academy and several African airports.
- IATA — ATS — Certified by IATA as an Authorized Training School for dangerous goods transport.
