About the course
Enabling aviation security staff to deliver validated specialist aviation security training to selected personnel, based on didactic materials such as the Standardised Training Packages (STP) and the Aviation Security Training Packages (ASTP).
WHO IT IS FOR
- Personnel who are, or will be, assigned aviation security training duties.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Participants must meet the following criteria:
- Professional experience in aviation security (having completed a specialist foundation course such as STP BASIC or equivalent is strongly recommended);
- Command of the language of instruction, written and spoken;
- Demonstrated aptitude for training duties.
OBJECTIVES
- Deliver AVSEC training applying general principles of learning and teaching.
- Present validated training courses effectively, based on didactic materials.
- Identify, select and prepare appropriate training aids.
- Design or adapt training objectives and examinations to national requirements.
- Identify and apply appropriate teaching methods.
